Probably cheaper buying the colour of car you want and carrying out an engine/interior transplant!

I dunno...1.5K?

Think i remember Carlt said it would be about £1700 or so, but i'm not sure if that would include a total strip down of the car (engine, interior, boot etc..)

Jintel looked into on my one before me buying it.
A respray of same colour not remaving engine and trims was £700. A full respray to a new colour was £2,500.

£700 sounds like a very good deal.........I thought it cost a lot more than that for a full respray. Guess it also depends on where its done and how much prep work they do before spraying it.

I paid £1300 for full same colour, but you could be looking at high prices, labour of removing everything under bonnet, in car, windows etc....
Then preping the car for the spray, lot off hrs rubbing filling and priming.
Then paint, this can cost alot depending on what you want.
I've seen spray jobs that have cost up to £10,000+ but they do look after

a respray of that extent is serious work, as adyr says.

EVERYTHING needs to be stripped out, not just removing the engine.

Sedicirich did his recently i think.

about 2.5- 3 k for a full strip down, this could be the same colour or a new colour.

its would be about 800 - 1500 for a same colour respray with out stripping the car down, obiously depending on the cost will reflect how far the bodyshop will go to get into every noock and cranny. 800 will basically be a outside brush over.

Im getting a bodykit fitted and a full respray (in same red). Im thinking about £800 will cover it as I know the guy doing the job. When I get the bill next week I'll let you know.

yeah paint is surprisingly expensive and the rest is how long they take on prep, had a sill welded, dent pulled and a whole side and bumper sprayed on a car (not a coupe) last year for £300 cash but it didnt look great to be honest, you get what you pay for, on a full respray £800 is too cheap for a A1 job
