Unfortunately I am having to get rid of my beloved coop for something far more sensible and economical (sound familiar). I’d appreciate your guys views on what it’s worth, both selling privately and trading in.

I’d like to just trade it in as it saves a lot of hassle but how much difference will there be between that and a private sale?

Having traded in a Coupe before you are much much better off trying selling privately. This was 6 years ago as well when the car had only just gone out of production. Most dealers weren't interested or wanted it underwritten and largely ignored the book value.

No, idea what the value would be as most people seem to after the 20VT but the later 20V N\As are quite nice so maybe 4k ish.

Try for 3.5-4k as long as belts done

I reckon 3.5k mate private. Mine's been up for sale for a while, same spec except no leather but lower miles. At between 4 and 4.5k no calls, at 3800, call a few calls and posssibly sold tomorrow

I'd try and avoid trade-in, been offered £2500 tops from a couple of places
