Hi!

I bought my Coupe a couple of weeks ago so there is a couple of things I hope you can help me with.

I'm thinking of buying a complete Pioneer speaker system for the car. For the front I'm thinking about TS-C171PRS. They are 17cm in diameter. I have been told that the original speakers are 16.5cm. Are there anything to work on to make them fit?

For the back (Side panels) I'm thinking about TS-E176C that has the same diameter, 17cm. Will it fit right in? Or do I have to do some custom changes to make it fit?

A couple of pictures of the speakers:

yes, the coupe is 16.5cm front and rear but bare in mind the depth of the speakers, otherwise you'll have to make some spacers

why do you need 2way component speakers in the back?

i'd go for 16.5 for straight fitting and not pioneer ;\)

But are there any way that there will fit 17cm speakers in the holes that all ready are there? Making spacers wont be a problem, but if the hole is too small I really got a big problem \:P

I think Ill have to take off the doors tomorrow to check. if there is no hope Ill find another set of speakers =)

you could manage to fit them on the rear panels (not probable but with spacers to enlarge the supporting area it could be done) on the front door panel I'm positive you'd have to slice and cut
