Hi guys,
tried explaining this to an ins company a while back and they didn't seem to cotton on.
I run a pug 205 and my policy will be up for renewal next march and therefore have a 1y ncb. If I was to sell it at that time would i be able to transfer the ncb onto my alfa policy? I susupect they may say no as i've earned it at the same time on another car?
I know a couple of companies allow you to share your ncb's but they're still more expensive than current insurer .

Cheers for help,
jim

I would say that if you're asking the current insurer of your Alfa to discount your existing policy then you're on to a loser.

However, when the Alfa policy is up for renewal phone around and explain the situation to a few companies and some of them might accept it - it's pretty much at their own discretion how much NCB they award to new customers.

Dear monos, a secret truth.
