Just wanted to say a big thanks to Paul and staff at motor-mech for all the work they did on my coupe on friday(cam belt cam cover etc), runs much better now and im not so scared of it blowing up yay... soz if i annoyed hanging round so much lol.
Got my other lower arm on now so all very smooth now whilst driving.
Got to say so funny watching people go in and out of the Taboo cinema club especialy when a police helicopter was hovering over and a pervy old man was hiding in the door way hehe...
KingPleb your coop was looking a bit worst for wear hope you get it back on the road soon mate good luck...

Well i asked if was because you ran lpg that your engine died, he said no just probably fueling wrong, scares me now to start modding... looks expensive when things go wrong.

Any idea when you'll get her back up and running?

That be nice matey as i do kinda miss her

Im looking for gold plated pistons Carlt
Nah iceberg doing me a good deal and im in no rush for her at the minute as i got the new tank thats having its head put back on in teh next day or two so all good
Was tempted to spend some money and get the JE forged pistons and balance them up and follow along nigels route but Davidl had already sold them adn teh brand new price from JE wasnt exactly within my bracket and didnt wanna scrimp on such things so its on teh back burner as a future mod for when next cambelt is needed as well , Forged rods and pistons and balanced bottom end and leave the head be

Will,

I was at Iceberg's inestimable establishment today getting some pre-MOT and an MOT done - cheers as always to Paul - and had a look at your car.

You'll be pleased to know that the engine compartment looks like an octopus trying to engage in extra-marital relations with a set of bagpipes; said bagpipes not being too happy about this and trying to escape on a wheelchair. And you can see right through the engine!

Anyway, I thought I'd cheer it up a bit so I tied a huge purple ribbon round it

Neil

LOL cheers Neil
Im happy the love affair is going well
The seeing thru engine would eb the old dead pistons gone bye bye lol

Think i may ring iceberg up and say to bung new pistons in as well while he's at it as i can save up the money then for it which should make it a tiny bit better and ask him if he can sort the MOT out for me as well as its due up in October and it just needs a foglight re-wire and brake light wire jumpered over from the other side to pass the test

I was thinking of Holyhead... will check out Liverpool, hopefully I won't have to make the trip for a while yet. I don't have a UK licence, but apparently they have to arrest u if ur going over 96 or so I was told in the back of a Wiltshire traffic cop car ... they clocked my at 95 .. funny that

Nah, they're not gone, they're in a heap under the car

I watched Sveta carefully brushing all around them, never touched them once

But I thought your car looked more cheerful with the ribbon - shame I didn't have a camera

Aww thanks matey LOL

I Would like to ring but i dont like to pester Paul as hes doing a superb job for me and good price as well i dont wanna sound like a whinger or anything but ive got something special lined up for him as a thank you

David the run from holyhead is littered with hot spots for them so i would personally avoid it as the run from liverpool is dead easy adn straight near enough, M62 => M6 and jobs a good un and avoid lots of them at that time as well if you get a late ferry over and the same back or do a 3 day trip
