hi was thinking about doing some mods to my car, alloys, bodykit etc. does anyone know what percentage they increase your premium, or excess. by, for both performance and non performance mods.
thanks really dont want to phone them and end up waiting half an hour on hold.

Who are you insured with...some companies don't like mods at all...very much depends on your age and driving history...I was told bigger wheels add 15-25%

i go through elephant and have front vallance, side skirts, alloys, dump valve and lowered declared for about 470 fully comp and protected no claims if thats any help

I added a whole load of mods to my car and the cost was £90, which i though was very reasonable.
If you phone them up and tell them, you will then need to write a letter detailing the mods and any power increase you expect them to give. Or i did anyway.
