born in Italy I live in German...
Greetings.
I'm about to modify the pump wiring, as described in the various guides,
I understand the wire diagram and how to connect them, relay/fuse etc. but I'm looking for some information on how to route the wire from the passenger compartment to the hood, how to get from the engine compartment to the passenger compartment is easy and I've already done it a couple of times but not to the hood.
Another question is where is the best place to get the Ground (negative) I know I have to drill somewhere and use a pin with a nut but where is the best place?
Do you recommend a 7.5A or 10A fuse?

Thanks.

Just for clarity, in the UK the 'hood' is called the boot (not to be confused with the US of A!)

Can you route it inside the C pillar and along the roof?

I routed mine along the inner sills, and then removed the rear door card to help me get it into the boot area.

Earth should be with a short cable, and just remove paint from that area of the boot

For the fuse I used a 20amp fuse

Cheers Jamie

Sorry for the typo, (I use translator), I thought you could get to the back by going under the upholstery somehow.
Well, I'll get a 20A fuse.
Thanks

Greetings.
I wanted to ask if it would be a good idea to use a rivet nut to take the negative near the pump?
thanks.
