I have just renewed with FJ for the sixth year but also included the Barchetta into the policy. Coupe now after some checking and reviewing had a agreed value upped 50% from last year after getting the bodywork done basis present market values of restored examples and as the B is under resto and being the super rare Riviera had an agreed value placed the same as the coupe last year for £231 for both cars, both agreed values, RAC and full salvage rights, both garaged, both on limited 3000 miles a year.
I checked with others commonly known and they do not compare in my opinion.

I have gone for the Flex cover with Footman - covers the Coupe and my main car (Mazda 3 sport nav - worth around 7K). 10K agreed value on the coupe, unlimited mileage/year (its only done 62K), RAC cover for both with homestart, £605 (combined).

Lancaster and Footman James have both come in with a quote of £165 with a £50 excess. Does anyone know if their valuation agreements are sensible? ClassicLine err on the mean side!

Lancaster and Footman James have both come in with a quote of £165 with a £50 excess. Does anyone know if their valuation agreements are sensible? ClassicLine err on the mean side! I was insured with Lancaster for a year with an agreed value. The AV lasts two years and their price was good. That was the end of the good news... When the AV came back at £8.5K rather than £8K, they wanted a further £30 which I thought was really cheeky. Getting though to them on the phone was impossible. Emails took days and days to be answered. I tried to add my friend as a named driver for a week for the Turin trip and they basically said no, because apparently if you have a second job as a photographer, you are too greater risk! Absolute bullsh*t. I took my business back to Adrian Flux who are a delight to deal with.
