The tyres are a definite improvement over the original Toyo's,

The most noticeable difference at A and B road cruising speeds is that the ride is less harsh, and the car handles pot holes/expansion joints much better then previously without the JOLT or bang of before.

Pushing on further - In corners the 16% increase in sidewall stiffness is noticeable-with less roll to the front of the car. I have a recently refreshed standard suspension set up- with the coupe front strut bar fitted and plus recaro's. The front strut bar and seats transformed the cornering the most previously.

These tyres have improved it a bit further and made the car feel more settled and more civilised.

I know there are coupe owners who prefer a far more race suspension set up and tyre, who won't think much of the improved Toyo.

But if you have the Plus wheels, and want an easy to acquire proper sized tyre - these are not too bad.

Now we have a bit more freedom to drive where we want for exercise I'll lean on them a bit more and give some more feed back if I find anything else of note.

Regards

MM

Thought I’d just use this thread regarding my tyres. Been getting out a bit more at the moment and pottering at my garage. Took one of my wheels to tyre place to get it re sealed. The chap informed me the tyre was 2006 shocked so new tyre time, the only ones he could get were Yokohama. 225x45x16 Checked my other tyre dates were 2004 shocked So now I’ve ordered another for the rear so that’ a matching pair on the rear. Tyre was very cracked but the tread was very good. I will sort out the fronts when I can drive the Coop to tyre place. Bloody hell all the tyres have perfect treads but you tend to loose the sense of time, well I ceartainly have. chinny

Check your tyres chaps.

Just drive your car more jimboy - you can easily wear a set of fronts out very quickly if you try harder laugh Rears don't have to last long either.

Aye Andy, but a series of events curtailed my time with my Coop, not going to bore you all with the story. Looking more than likely early retirement is for me, so if the current situation changes, I will indeed be behind of the steering wheel of the Coop driving

Aye!!! laugh. Off in this morning to get the tyres fitted, well what a welcome I received, the boss himself, the second in charge and three fitters all round admiring the Coop shocked Wow they really were impressed, I was almost embarrassed by all the oooing and awing cool Have to admit the car stood out with the new paintwork love Happy days.

Nice to hear,

Its always good when the coop is appreciated and gets some attention!

And if you have the garage/tyre fitters liking your car you get the better service generally.

Hope the new tyres work out!

MM
