Vinci Grey on the A6 heading towards Loughborough. I was going in the opposite direction. Didn't flash or wave or anything as my car was having troubles and I was busy pulling my bloody hair out

Moon Grey X reg Plus parked on Belmont Way, Loughborough. I live on Abberton Way (just round the corner) and saw it when my mate picked me up. Wanted to go back and have a look but when we got back we saw you heading towards the M1. Think you had aftermarket alloys but couldn't tell what as the car was moving but looked like the ones on the car in this thread: http://www.fiatcoupeclub.org/forum/showflat.php?...=true#Post38971If it was something like that then I would love to know where you got them from And if you live locally (never seen the car parked there before so I presume you were visiting somebody), I would love to have a look at a Plus in the flesh!

I've finally spotted a forumer! I saw your car in my periphery vision and, like always with the coupe, though "that looks a nice shape, wonder what it is" before realising, usually too late, that it's a Coupe. Luckily I already had my arm dangling out the window so a wave was made easy.
Gave my car the full meguiars treatment last weekend so, for once, I'm not ashamed of how it was looking!

Passed a Portofino Blue parked in a layby going West on the A14 this morning at about 9.30. Reg S688 ___. Driver was on the phone, and I was in my brothers MGF because my Portofino blue is in the hospital for sick coops so didn't bother waving Hope you hadn't broken down ! Ian.

Yep. That picture looks like the one !
Unfortunately, seeing yours has just made me more distressed that mine's still out of action. It's been in the garage for 5 days now and no sign of recovery. I guess I'm lucky I've got myself a topless model to play with whilst it's being fixed, but I'd still rather have it back!
Hope yours doesn't boil water as fast as mine does !
Ian.

All I can say is I am glad you didn't see me five minutes earlier when I was madly beating the entire car with a rolled up map trying to kill the fccuking thing. Ended up driving all the way to Hereford with broken aircon and the windows shut.

Oh - What I'd give just to have broken aircon
It's been 7 Days off the road now. I'm hoping that a new radiator bottle filler cap and cooling fan motor might save me, but beginning to lose hope
If I ever get my Fiat Kettle back, I'll stop next time and assist with any necessary spider removals
Ian.
