Shame i find brands Indy circuit a bit short but paddock corner is awesome! I've always found it a fun circuit even if it's wet, Paddock hill is awesome and easy to get wrong if you're over excited and off your line after the straight. If you've never been before or it's your first track day it's a great way to learn about your car, just saying that to reassure a few 'newbies' who are going

Great day, but way too many cars on circuit as the K7's were buzzing and bullying pretty much everyone to get out of the way. Weather was perfect, bright, dry and very cold, didn't start raining until gone 4pm and then they were all out of shape. A Ford Puma driver tried a new line through Surtees and took major damage off side when he met the tyre wall at Mclaren, driver ok but he'll have a hell of a job explaining the damage to him Mum's car when he gets home Coupé's were on song and holding there own with no issues, in the afternoon I suffered what I think to be an early lift pump failure in the tank as the 044 fuel pump in the boot sounds like it's oscillating air so not getting enough fuel. Rocket in the morning was blistering fast, raw and pretty frightening tbh as I've not driven her properly since 2013. Alex my Daughter was nearly passing out at the bottom of Paddock hill due to the G's being pulled up Hailwood hill. New Cameras fitted by Jake have captured so great video and the 300+ SLR shots of the day should make for some good footage so more to follow on that. In all an excellent couple of days and I think I can say we all enjoyed out track time and made it back safely with no break downs or issues.

My mate Mozzy and I really enjoyed our time at Brands! First ever track day for us, so no lap records set! As Joe said, lots of cars on track, with the Caterhams constantly darting around you in the bends like a swarm of wasps at times. The Porto was on good form all day, the engine pulling really well and handling aplomb with only the brake pedal going spongy mid way through the afternoon. Good to meet other Coupe owners with their fine cars who shared our garage and we all kept our cars on the track surface, to see another day! Big thanks to Joe in bringing the Porto up to scratch mechanically and for persuading me to go along. Some photos to follow.

Was that Marco's old coupe you were driving Joe?

We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Glad the day went well, I miss brands - not been there for a while. Goodwood on monday was really wet, and they kept threatening to throw me off for noise (even after an extra silencer was put in for the day). Apparently I was still hitting 100db on corner exits.
