Also, how exactly do you open up the headlight unit? It seems to be completely sealed. Do I need to get brutal with it?

How do these age? I mean if an LED goes out presumably you need to repeat the install to replace the whole ring?

Anyone have any experience running these for a few years?

I used cfcc rings on mine for the last 4 years and the only problem I had was with the inverters blowing but an easy fix as they are outside the headlights so just a rewire , I have now changed to cob led rings and they seem to work well and are a lot brighter than my old rings .
