Nice to see where some of the design influences came from.

Nice shot of Nick, there... Joe and I were hiding behind Chris at that point, I think.

Good article cool

I posted it up in Coupe Related Chat a few minutes ago, but Trappy rightly told me it had been posted here, so I've deleted my thread laugh

Oh my god how bad did those early sketches look. If it had turned out like them i would probably have a sierra sapphire cosworth in my possession now. Hmm cosworth .....

Great article. Thanks Dave!!!

Agree with Stevo, although I might have acquired an Alfa as we have very few Sierras "Downunder" and probably even less Coupes.

Yeah I always wanted a cosworth. Nearly brought a 3 door in black with rs500 from bumper and compromotive mo's etc a year ago... Ended up buying a house instead. But looking at cosworth prices I think I would have made about 5 grand on it if I had got it. Still the house has gone up in value more I suppose.

Yeah the 3 door variant is where the money is and especially if you can get your hands on an rs 500 version for a good price
It's amazing how cheap it is to have a nice well tuned fiat coupe! When I was in to the RS and xr shows etc. it was costing 70 odd grand on top of the cost of the car to have a well sorted cosworth, well that's the sort of prices that we're being claimed in the early 90's at the shows
In the good old days when my insurance for an xr4x4 was £1400 3rd pft ouch and everyone else seemed to be driving around in stolen astra's or nova's lol hehe
