If you will pass along Torino-Trieste highway, it can be a good idea.

I have to leave the hotel on Friday morning to collect Adam from Turin Airport at 10:40. Though I may discover it easier for Adam to take a train to Turin centre, and collect him from there.

But if I can make it, the Lunch idea sounds a fantastic idea before heading for Pininfarina

We can have the meet at Vicolungo Shopping Center, 100km before Torino, and came together near Torino.

Myself and Alan M (arm) will be starting Friday morning from SE of Lyon and wil drive past Chambery an hour later so could try to meet up and all drive together to the lunch meeting point which should take 2½ hours from Chambery.

Cambiano is just off the E70 which we'll be driving into Italy on, so I imagine we'd just carry on south of Turin?

How about we meet at the B&B Hotel Chambery just off the E70 at 9:30am?

As far as I can tell, it's only the ZTL Centrale that we need to avoid?

The hotel in the centre is a mile or so to the east of the ZTL, and Mirafiori is also down to the SW of the centre, so I assume we'll be OK and won't arrive to home to find we have run up lots of automatic penalty fines?
