We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Article headed "Through the roof!" 10 cars whose prices will rocket in the next ten years? Coupe comes in at No5. "Loved by a small but loyal, following and waiting to be discovered by the rest of us"! They refer to a Current C1 price (?) of £3000. Others on the list; 1. Ford Escort RS2000 1975-80 Current C1 price £11k 2. Peugeot 205GTi 1983-94 Current C1 price £3600 3. Saab 90 Turbo 1977-81 Current C1 price £5500 4. Mazda MX5 Mk 1 1989-93 Current C1 price £3500 5. Fiat Coupe 1994-2000 Current C1 £3000 6. Citroen CX 1974-89 Current C1 £4000 7. BMW Z3 (6 cyl)1996-02 £3500 8. MGF/TF 1995-05 £2500 9. Alfa Alfetta GTV 1977-87 £5500 10. Lotus Elise S1 95-00 £10k For the money as drivers cars, the 205 and possibly the 6 cyl Z3 appeal if I hadn't already got the Coupe

Also, there is due to be a Practical Classics 90's Coupe feature in a couple of months time. Not sure of all of the cars featured but the Coop and GTV are in there.

I'd say that was about right for a standard 20VT

Excerpt from advert: "Fiat Coupe (1998) 20V Turbo. 5 cylinder. Italian Racing Red. The best colour to have this vehicle in. Only 3 owners. Full service history. 2 keys including the red key. 50000 miles. Alarm fitted. Twin air bags. Air conditioning. Electric windows. MP3/CD/RADIO player. Part exchange accepted. NO RUST INSIDE OR OUT!" I wonder if the boot has been checked Nice straight example (I'm not going to mention the spoiler ), lets see if it sells, we just need to convince the rest of the world, here's hoping

I saw a coupe picture yesterday that truly looked superb. Oh wait, it was your car Ross - bet you`re just kicking yourself that it`s not "the best colour to have this vehicle in".

It is time to stop thinking 'what can I get one for?' and start thinking 'how much would it cost to replace what I already have?'.
Those numbers are not the same, particularly if you've done a lot of work on yours. You sound exactly like a certain co author of yours! But your onto something!

Hopefully, I won't be parting with my Coupe for a long, long time...so the talk of value is "paper" to me.
Oh, and the best colour for a Coupe...see photo below! :-)

I think the spoiler on that £7K car is one of the original FIAT accessory ones! It is, part of the Fiat Zender kit. I'm not a rear spoiler fan but this is one of just two that I think look fine on a Coupé.
Gone Audi mad!

I'll beg to differ Bob and say that IMO that spoiler on the red car is high on the list of the worst I've ever seen! It sticks out of the back and doesn't complement the lines in any way whatsoever. It's possibly even worse than the adjustable alloy ironing boards I've seen on some. You have to remember that everyone is spelling the word incorrectly too - the correct spelling for such an addition is "Spoil 'Er" Great news about the potential price rocket though - that's my retirement fund sorted! Oh hang on, no it's not, mine is scheduled to end up six feet under in due course, with me at the wheel!

I have to say that the Zender Kit is truly horrid.,,, IMHO of course. It is only beaten by the postert one. Also any spoiler is just bad.
My favourite coupe look is the late 20VT6s with full body coloured bumpers and sills. Agreed!!!! Mine's not a 20VT6 but that's how it was painted when I acquired her two and half years ago.
