Right, that's part one of the plan complete - I now have a car! Now you need a driver

Just started looking at paperwork for the trip.
Other than a confirmation that I've paid for the event, I don't have any details of a reservation at the Holiday Inn. Have any of you received anything yet?
Edit to add: Will we get an info pack of directions, times etc, or do we rely on the website?

Things are coming together nicely. Clutch, shocks, coolant hoses, tyres all done. Getting excited now!

Starting to put a route together.... But how do I get this STOP OFF past the Mrs? I was looking at heading towards Lyon and then across to Turin, in an effort to avoid the Swiss Motorway pass. But I might just have to try and sell her Stasbourg, then Mulhouse and down through Switzerland.

I hate you all Actally I don't but I am very jealous. Even though you only get to drive round one bend of the Iconic Fiat rooftop track in Turin - I would gladly drive all the way just to do that!

Come on. Drive to Italy. I dare you !!!!! Shut-up and dont say that What's stopping you ? 1. It's full up. 2. I've had a thrash round Abu Dhabi in a Aston Martin GT4 already this year. 3. I've got a E-type Experience to use up at Knockhill 4. I'm going to do a drift experience this summer Driftland 5. I intend to do a Track day Knockhill also this summer 6. I'm going to Spa Francorchamps with the Club in Sept. And last but not least: 7. I'm going to Florence, Italy for a week in July for Mrs Lego's 50th birthday and she has amazingly agreed I can take a day out and go to Drive Monza! So I think it would really be taking the piss if I emptied the bank account and went to Italy in 2 weeks and I've just spent £££'s buying and refurbing wheels! I'll ask her though just to see what her response is

Been putting a route together today.
Looks like we'll be heading from Calais to Luxembourg (1 x Night).
Then down to Mulhouse for the Museum and on into Switzerland (1 x Night).
We'll probably buy the Swiss TAX (About £25). we were going to try and get through without it but it is a lot of messing about. Might be better to use the motorway and spend more time visiting somewhere. We can then use it for the return too and avoid all the expensive French Alpine Motorway tolls.

NOPE! It's due to be ready Friday... Quite disturbingly I've just discovered an email, sent Friday last, asking me to call them asap I am hoping that if it were anything too drastic they would have tried to call me, no missed calls means I'm not too worried, at the moment.
