One thing i'm still not used to is the poor visibility of the plus binnacle when illuminated, anyone used brighter LED's and can share a link to where I can get some?

led's are no good you want normal bulbs but at a higher watt as they spread the light better than led bulbs .

Yep, I have tried just about every style of led on the dash and they are all worse than the original bulbs. I think you can now get 3w bulbs that will fit.

How many would you need to overhaul the central dash consul and the dials?

Ten if I remember correctly, unless you plan on replacing all the warning lights.

Its about 6 on the clocks and you can only change 2 bulbs on the centre console so 10 will do .

Only two behind the centre console?

So, one behind the heater control dials and the other illuminating the rear window heater (the switch doesn't illuminate in mine)?

Does one of these illuminate the clock and the hazard light switch (which again is u/s on mine) ?

Just found these might give them a go. With the sideways surface leds it might spread a bit more light.
Anyone got any ideas with what i can do with all my other ones i've tried that don't work? I must have 50 odd red and white leds floating about. crazy

There are two bulbs which illuminate the three heater controls. The clock has it's own bulb of the same type as the rest.

The switches each have their own small bulbs soldered into the switch. They can be changes, although it's fiddly, or replace the row of switches, there are two rows of three switches.

Right, thanks.

I'm wondering if the rear window heater switch does actually illuminate as a warning light for it comes on in the display above the steering column.

Comes on a reminder rather than a warning, although I think the coupe automatically switches it off if you leave it on... but then that might be the Stilo frown

Not yet James, had to sort out my shrine lights, kept tripping out every time I turned them on, had to shift all removed/spare bit to inspect cabling in the loft, no damage, then found it to be shorting behind light switch. Opportunity lost frown but shrine lights fixed smile

Finally found some leds that work! I will say they are not much of an improvement over the standard 2.3w bulbs but much better than any other leds.
These are the little fellas

I haven't tried bockers, I will for curiosity's sake but I can't see why anyone would want them dimmer!

I very much doubt they will dim, but happy to be told wrong.
There are people who live without lighting. I heard its called the 'countryside'
If you mistakenly find yourselves in this so called place, the night can be 'bible black' and you may appreciate the dimmer.
