Just a quick one I don't know the correct answer to.

I need to write a letter to a married couple who live together. He is Mr Smith and she is Mrs Wilson-Smith (for example).

How should the letter be addressed?

Dear Mr Smith and Mrs Wilson-Smith? Or is Mr and Mrs Smith acceptable in this instance?

Formally? The first.
Old fashioned formally? Mr and Mrs Smith.
BBC received pronunciation? Mr and Mrs (his forename/initial) Smith.
Informally: Family Wilson-Smith
