Blah Blah Blah.

Waggy finger to make it 8 in a row?

Heikki to pick up some points for Lotus?

Just put FP1 on and it's been red flagged bacause of fog!

You'd be daft to bet against The Driver Formerly Known as Finger Boy. However, I imagine that this number of wins record has been so hard to beat because eventually something breaks or someone makes a mistake - even if it's not Vettel or even on his car. I think Webber's hunger has gone, the last race will have sapped his desire to even try to beat his team-mate. Hamilton and Rosberg are focusing on scoring solid points to beat Ferrari and Lotus will be hoping for a podium rather than a win from Grosjean and any points for Kov will be a bonus. So, there's actually little incentive among Vettel's rivals to challenge him.

I really hope I'm wrong, but I fear that King Seb is pretty much the only person who will be able to summon up a "YES! That's what I'm talking about!" at the end of the race.

Thanks! Or clairvoyance...

Didn't even try to find anywhere to view the race. Won't be watching the highlights. Just...meh.

The best thing about the race was when it ended and I watched the second Touch Of Cloth with my brother in law.

We watched The Great Escape, courtesy of LoveFilm.

The suspense about how it would end was almost unbearable compared with the Grand Prix.

And - as Eddie Izzard would say - it's always good to watch Steve McQueen trying to escape, disguised as an American man...!

That was perhaps the longest 'highlights' of the year; I reckon they only dropped about six laps... the tension was almost unbearable!
