Yours is a Jensen 541 then, from the early fifties. Ran 4 litre straight six Austin engine and mainly Austin A70 suspension and steering
Came out in 1953, they were fibreglass and was the world's first production four seater fibre glass car
The 541 deluxe was first production car with four wheel disc brakes
Replaced in 1962 by the CV8 - so ugly you wouldn't believe it, then again in 1966 with the Interceptor, so gorgeous you wouldn't believe it

Dunno if this counts but a 3500 Rover SD1 today in Darlo. Looked well shabby and covered in primer but could be an ongoing project. Always fancied one of these as a project car when I'm rich enough not to have to work and a have an 8 car garage. It would need to be Yardy Blue with gold wheels though (you'll need to have played The Getaway to understand this).
Up yours Photobucket.

Saw one of these in Somerfield car park in Hinckley about a week ago. ...and this was built just down the road from where I used to live, used to see it driving about quite a bit.

Seen an Avantime this week - just bringing those back in, and saw a Fiat 127 on the way to work yesterday, and again on the way back so looks like it was being used for a commute too

Was thinking most of Begbie's didn't cut it as rare - maybe the Midgets and the Marcos. Saw another Mustang today but they are getting quite common

Good stuff!! It didn't happen to drop a load of tacks on the floor as it pulled away? Or fire rockets out of the boot?
I had one of these cruise past me yesterday and a guy who lives next door to a house we're renting out has one of these, although I guess it may not be that rare in some parts of the counrty.

MTV tells us they are cool so they must be!
Can't see why anyone who isn't a farmer would need a 4x4 though.
Can't legally tow my race car without a 4x4, and a big one at that. Only "small" 4x4 with enough towing capacity is the Nissan X Trail, but then its too small inside to carry all the crap you have to take with you, let alone get the family in as well
Bout time people wised up to the "divide and conquer" tactics of this government. Not content with having divied up Great Britain, they are employing the same tactics on motorists now. First they lay waste into the 4x4 owners - who's next do you think? Sure as hell won't be economy car drivers will it - so don't take Brain of Britain to realise that its sports car owners next
Or modified cars - and how many stock Coupes left on this forum? There's already been enough conjecture about banning ANY sort of modified car
So lay off the 4x4 drivers, cos its us lot next if we don't (well me already as a part time 4x4 driver too!)

Saw a 2CV Van on Sunday, about a dozen Triumph TR3 and TR4 in convoy (so guess they aren't that rare after all) and a Mk 2 Cortina
