I have received my pass. No wristband. Assume this will be given on arrival, well according to the first letter received. I have a detailed plan of the area showing the direction of the parade and where we are to park. It mentions cars must have a 6 inch clearance as well. But looking at my side skirts I'm not too sure I have!

Don't worry about clearance for access to the site, I have about 4" total clearance and have never had a problem getting into the "Wheels Zone". It might be the parade that is an issue though I can call and ask if you want? No probs, if anybody else is concerned about ground clearance let me know. I think wrist bands are for " speed freaks" only, paddock access and driver briefings etc.

The 3 Compasses is a good meeting point for the "Picnickers" 8-8:30 is the usual time for them to convene For us "Speed Freaks" how's about the Smithbrook Kilns car park? Map of location ignore the pinpointed shop, it's just one of the boutiques in the shopping centre. The latest time to meet should be 8ish or we'll have problems getting into the paddock. Car's all shiney, ready for next weekend, weather is meant to be HOT! will make my new Yokohama Parada spec2's stick nicely to the tarmac, none waisted on wheel spin

I was even thinking on the drive into work this morning that shouldn't someone start organising the area to meet? I see you there before 8am

I won't be able to attend this prestigious event (or any others for a while) as I broke my forearm playing cricket on Friday. Driving with an above-the-elbow plaster cast is a little difficult.... Have a great day out, and I look forward to seeing the pictures . Bugger!

OK thanks for that Thunderbox, I wait with baited breath. If your son decides to go, then we will have to fight it out for Tim's ticket, I guess.

Iain,
Smithbrook Kilns Shopping Village (sooo Surrey darling!) GU6 8JJ On the A281. Probably best for you and James from M25, A3 to Guildford and A281 south from there. See you on Saturday!
Mis-typed the important road No.!!
