Thanks - thats quite a common reaction - especially to the paint scheme.
The car is my dream & I cant wait to get it finished - hopefully in the summer.... on with the engine build now, so soon time to start the final car assembly..

Engine is now running, ready for Mapping session next week. Videos of the start on mysite. Not very good video & the sound is poor, it sounds great in real life! Cheers Neil www.turbonutter.net

Final Result 475Hp & 498lb/ft at the wheels! There was more to be had if I had wanted, but that should be enough!

The fun was short lived, MOT in the morning & no 4th gear in the afternoon Turns out all the teeth fell off the gears.... i had a couple of spare boxes, so managed to rebuild it in a couple of days & managed to get a few miles in before coming back to work, these miles included a few 0-60 times, the best of which was 3.65 seconds, so i'm pretty happy with that. I also had a photo shoot for PPC magazine & the feature will be in the september issue.... Other than that I have been investigating gearbox options & so far it looks like I need a Full on Sequential race box to cope with the power....

The car is now back on the road with a Toyota MR2 turbo gearbox. My budget didnt run to a sequential, so the next best option is a standard box that would cope with the power & the MR2 Turbo box is good for 700+ BHP, so should do for my car. Its a lot beefier box and heavier, so looks like it should do ok.. Photos of the conversion are on my website. MR2 Box Conversion. Its covered about 100miles in the last 2 days & so far everything is looking good. The last few miles I finally get to turn up the boost & try out the car properly & boy is it quick! 2nd gear Launch
