Indy has been sold as my brother didn't have time and I wanted something to drive to tracks rather than trailering. So I bought a 172 cup about 8 hours ago! It's track ready- coilovers, camber bolts, rear ARB, stainless cat-back etc etc. All for practically a few pounds I found down the back of the sofa and some furry sweets

Might get it stripped inside before then if I get chance. Should be great fun at Curborough.

I have invited Simon Adams, some of you may remember his Proton Satria, SAAB 9000 and TVR Tuscan from years ago? He has an Essesse spec Abarth 500 and a Morgan 3 wheeler now, so could bring either depending on the weather. He will confirm shortly but seemed v.interested.

I've not paid up yet, as me coming is contingent on getting a sticky rear calliper sorted out. The bits arrived today, so will keep you posted.

Swapping over my full cage to a roll bar today to make it easier for everyone to get in and out.

I've managed to get some track wheels and tyres sorted for the Clio. Just an RStuner reflash, engine oil, filter, gearbox oil and CV gaiter to sort Oh and the car's now lost 60kg and counting

Although I've paid I doubt i can get there until 1pm due to childcare issues, if at all - if anyone spectating wants to use my morning's worth of paid-up time please do so...

Bring them with you Steve take them out for a few laps.

If I can make a suggestion:-
Would all the people on the list be ok with Paying a few quid extra for the folk who have dropped out?
Otherwise there will be a shortfall which isn't fair for the club to pay.

I personally have no issues with paying a few quid extra as I enjoy the event and wish for it to continue in the future.

Good suggestion John, but I suspect there will be a couple of last-minute takers for the remaining slots

If it comes to it I don't mind paying a bit more.

Decided to stick with the cage for now, spent the time yesterday driving about instead. Going to be using up old tyres for this event, expect a nice bit of sliding. My wife will be coming along to watch/help take an occasional drive if that's ok?

I would love to join you but I've got a Manager off on holiday that Sunday.
If there is any way I can find some extra cover I will fill a space.
I hope the Friday July 12th is still ok as I really don't want to half my annual mileage !
