The spoiler, The Car mats, pedals, green writing in advert.
all reasons why I would avoid.

Looks nice, I'd bin the mats and pedals though.
Doesn't mention why they think the mileage is incorrect. You can check the mileage recorded at each mot test on line if you have the document red no from the V5.
You'd probably get £3-400 back by flogging the personalised plate.

Usual questions - cambelt etc. Also looks like it's had a very good wash and valet.
Looks nice but then most coupes do in pictures.....

It's "obviously" been well cared for mind P11 JJP I'd say is it's original plate Joe? I thought original plates of that era were always three numbers, not two. Either way it's worth sticking the reg into regtransfers website and seeing what they'd give for it.

Numbers 1 to 20 were kept back for people who wanted to pay for a "special" plate, after that the remaining 2 digit numbers normally went out in the general run of registrations.
16VT and X1/9 1500

Ok guys thanks for the replys. Ok to clear a few things up,the oil pressure was low and it worried me until i looked at the dip stick and there wasnt any on there lol, topped up and now running 2.8 to 3 bar so all good, and the car wasnt used much just test drives as no tax on the car so im happy with that. No smoke on hot idle so turbo good. Shes standard and not chipped, ive had many turbo cars running 200bhp to 350bhp. She pulls well and gear change is fine also no slip from the clutch.
Ok the chap told me she was re-shelled? was in a accident a year after being made. its reading 56k miles and the word going about is that it was stored for a few years, now its pritty mint inside with everything that would wear with a high mile car has not worn at all.
There are a few things that need looking at,the temp gauge only goes to around 50 and i drove 100 miles home lol, maybe thermostat of the temp sensor for the gauge? And oil temp doesnt go much past 40? But other than this shes very clean with no rust at all.

Stat needs replacing most likely. Hope you didn't push it too hard in that 100 miles? The fact it was that low on oil is hardly a good sign of good maintenance HPI check will reveal what category it was. Likely to be CAT C if re-shelled. Do you have a VOSA certificate for the re-test?

Re-shelled, and CAT D? That certainly doesn't smell of roses What you mean? i thought cat d was the least of the cats? and i would say work would have been done right by dealer or other garage if car was only a year old and the insurance was paying for it?

Re-shelled, and CAT D? That certainly doesn't smell of roses What you mean? i thought cat d was the least of the cats? and i would say work would have been done right by dealer or other garage if car was only a year old and the insurance was paying for it? Cat D is the least "serious" of all write off categories. Fact is, if the damage was so bad that the car had to be reshelled, it would have been a Cat C at very least, if not a B (breaker). If it was just a damaged rear quarter and it was fixed, then a Cat D sounds right. All category insurance write offs will have meant the owner would have had the market value paid in full to them. The car would then be sold off by the insurance broker at auction, and that buyer may have paid for the repairs to get it back on the road. That, or the previous owner had an option to buy the vehicle back after they'd been paid out, for typically 10% of this value.
