What would this be worth brand new now that they don't make these anymore if someone had one?

They are easy enough to repair anyway so probably won't get much more than list price.

I bought one of the last ones while they were in stock and I think I paid nearly £50 for mine.

Somewhone in the Netherlands is going to produce those bonnet cables. The same manufacturer that produced the OEM part for Fiat. Fiat has approved his plans for reproduction of some parts that are not availabe. He has got the first bonnet cable now for testing. If that one fits perfect they are going to be in production. But for financing the parts he wants to know (on dutch Coupe forum) if there is a market for it. And if you pay before the mass production you will get a discount.

Also hes is planning to re-produce other parts that are not available from Fiat anymore. Think about oil pump (16VT) and parts like that. But the bonnet cable is going to be te first part that is available again.

At the moment i use the Peugeot 406 universal kits.

£30ish from the dealers and they fit both the bonnet release and throttle cables nicely.
Neat install.

This company I mentioned above is going to re-produce the OEM bonnet cable. Is already available for 28 euro exclusive shipping. Fiat price was 41 euro.
