You will have seen that at least two people have booked time off work and a hotel room so that they can make it.

Your suggestion that it be cancelled on the day of the meet is simply totally wrong.

You chose the date for this "Christmas Meet" (I too thought it far too early)
You chose the location, Bedford, and we took a poll for venue.

In future Marco please don't bother trying to organise any events as it appears you are just as bad at doing that as you are attending them. Unless you are offering to refund the room we have booked and paid for @£60, and are somehow going to give Trish her days holiday back (Ten hours!!!) and, on top of that, compensate me for loosing a nights overtime + bonus (Close to £300), then we will still be attending this meet. The one that YOU organised, no matter how poorly you did it!

as Pete pointed out its a completely self centred action that i take full on bored.

i desporatly want to attend this meet hence i looking for any option to move it.
Which is not an option at all.
i can not appoliges enough.

following that up it proves i make a completely sh*t reginal rep.

so i will step down from this role and hand it to some one who does not have as many commitments as i do.

spinning too many plates makes for a bad out come.

Two of us were from Cambridge and another further south, whe regularly attends Cambridge meets. To be fair it would have been considerably cheaper and more convenient to have gone to one of our usual venues
