Who the hell wrote that sign, anyway?

The grammar is appalling. Britain is going to be an educational laughing stock, if it isn't already.

I cycled most of the Olympic cycle road race route today (missing out the bits between Richmond and central London) and there were some lovely sections of road freshly tarmaced (not finished in Ripley yet) but only did Boxhill once and changed the route a bit to avoid busy A roads. There were loads of cyclists out on the road though, almost like London to Brighton at the top of Boxhill. Doesn't look like there will be any seating at Boxhill but some small blocks of seats are in place at Hampton Court although lots of work still going on behind the seats. Having done the route it will be great to watch on TV, I'll look forward to some of the twisty bits, the narrow humpback bridge over the canal just past Newark Priory should be fun.

Hope I didn't run you over on my way to Brooklands this morning! There were loads of cyclists tearing around near Oxshott at about 10 o'clock...

Its obviously a stadium mistake, rather than an Olympic one, as the apology came straight from Hampden Park media manager Andy Mitchell.

Now, whether he was responsible (if Media manager means the manager of the media used in the stadium), or whether he's just the spokesperson from the club (media manager meaning PR Officer), is unclear.

Not a very good job title i suppose really. He could just be the filing clerk who looks after all the VHS's. laugh

Anyways, gotta admit, surely someone whilst the video was being made and reviewed by various people, had half the braincell required to say "hang on, isn't that South Korea's flag?"

Makes us look ignorant and incompetant that many are.

Cringeworthy to those who are not and have a little respect.

Check the news, it wasn't a stadium problem the video came from London.

Do you have a link? The latest article i've read just says:

"It was not immediately clear who had produced the video shown in the stadium."

What is all this Team GB bullshit?

We are Great Britain, and should be referred to as such.

I spy the fingerprints of Siobhan Sharpe all over that one.

WTF is football doing in the Olympics anyway?

My eyes are bleeding, the whole world must be thinking "what the f**k are the British smoking".

Nothing says Great Britain more than a giant floating tree...

We are NOT Great Britain. We are the United Kingdom; look at your passport. Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

This "Team GB" stuff is really grinding my wheel nuts grr . If I was Northern Irish I would be properly upset!!

Team UK please (and I'm actually Canadian wink )

Tim

Epic soundtrack.

For the Germans - The Dambusters theme

For the Japanese - Enola Gay

All in all better than I was expecting, and a big up for England England and the other three... wink

Time we invaded another country, I guess Tony won't be asked to select the next one.
