This year i am going to save the Funds up to hopefully buy an LE smile
Wanted one for a while now, and remember a few months back a few reasonable ones cropped up on ebay all at once, but since they seem to be few and far between,
If i get the money and wait a few months do you think i will have a chance of finding a Reasonable Fiat Coupe LE for Below £3000? This Year. smile
Thanks smile

LE's and Plus' IMO seem to fetch the most money though Coupes really across the board are at an all time low so prices will only rise. You may see an LE for that money but it will need work and some attention. The LE register on here now show only around 138 known LE's on the road so best of luck! Welcome to the forum BTW thumb

There's a huge drop in Plus and LE models for sale, and Coupe's in general. I'd say: good luck - or make an existing owner an offer they can't refuse.

We're going to move from a buyer's market to a seller's market very soon.

If you haven't found an LE yet, there's one on Gumtree for £1600 IIRC... think someone put a link to it on fccuk somewhere.

Anyway been on Gumtree a week and seller claims it needs £500 spent on it to get through MOT. Might be worth a look smile

Here's the link:

We have an LE in at Motormech - it originally came in for breaking, but subject to an underbody inspection, it looks like we're going to rescue and restore it.

The engine is dead (snapped cambelt) and it's had a scrape down the nearside, but it looks to be basically sound.

Clearly, we would make a lot more by pulling it apart, but we just can't bring ourself to do it.

One angle that we are looking at is the possibility of taking the buyer's existing engine and using it as the donor for the LE - this would mean the new owner gets an engine they trust implicitly and we end up with a (presumably tired) engine-less Coupe to break afterwards
