Huh. And now they've sent me the policy documents and managed to debit my account as directed... except they haven't sent the documents for the coupe which should be on there!

was just reading up this about Admiral.
since taking the multicar policy out nearly a year ago and adding the gf a month later when she passed,we had it was shared use on our Focus and me only on my Bravo.I also took out employment protection for £40,to which i paid there and then instead of topping up the monthly payments.
Come beginin of dec,i got made redundant so i put a claim in hoping theyll pay it,great i thought till i got back on my feet
Oh no.i had to get a claim form signed by my ex boss,(what a nightmare) then send it off and only for a month later to be told by letter theyre not going pay it..i thought uh?
So i gets on the phone only to be told that you had to have a years worth of insurance before you took the policy out. i was out of work 3 months and had no insurance on a car at the time. So i kinda went mad and put in a complaint as i wasnt aware of this at the time.After a month of ongoing all they did was refund me £40 :0 so i then had to find 2 months worth of insurance. i tried a solicitor but no joy.
Have since had renewel and for us both on the focus (bear in mind the gf now has 1ync and me 6) it has gone up £200! Ive took the bravo off and went to insure the coupe but its coming back over £800. So thats 1400 for both. Wont be going there in a few weeks time!
