Looking for some advise from regular track goers? what sort of figures should i be running/looking out for/getting concerned at, for;
oil temps - (the guide suggests looking out for 110°C - concern 130°C)
tyre pressures -
wheel bolt torques -
water temps -
intake temps -
EGT temps -
providing all these can be monitored.
Cheers Ninja

Here's my tuppence worth from my many track days: oil temps - (the guide suggests looking out for 110°C - concern 130°C) - anything in this range is fine operating wise. In the uk climate, I typically let things cool down and the oil temp is never above 120. When at Spa last year in 30+ degrees I saw it climb above 130 (then I rested it up). Lol @ Marco between 90-95 tyre pressures - very much depends on conditions and type and profile of tyres, and preference! Whilst always lower, I've run as little as 20 psi on fronts and 22 rears. wheel bolt torques - 115 lb/ft.. Check between sessions! water temps - anything between 90-100 intake temps - uber paranoia EGT temps - uber paranoia

tyre pressures - wheel bolt torques - water temps - intake temps - EGT temps - providing all these can be monitored. I use between 2 bar to 2.2 bar at the track. Water temp never goes above 90 on the widget,if the oil temp gets above 95 i do a cool down lap and come in. Egt,s vary on the size of the turbo AR and the exhaust. Let me know where your going Rich and i will book it too just so i can humiliate you

Ninja Dont be a pooof. Trackday advice is:- Foot to the floor,and make sure your quicker than anyone else. Settings and tricksy suspension is for people like Marco who try to make up for talent BTW make sure you steer clear of Daz who will be there in a green Bravo 20vt.

according to the pictures, the gauge is magnetic, so the hub or disc. just thinking it might be worth keeping in the tool box for that price, and save me some money in the long run Ninja
