Best premier league player ever. If there ever was a better example for the old addage class is permanent, I've not seen it  The only one that came close was Bergkamp (another blasted Gooner); a wonderful player, but Henry was (is) number one. I'm sure that Man Utd fans will disagree (Scholes, Giggs), but frankly, who cares!!??

The "who's the best premier league player ever" argument can and always will rage on. For me, it's Henry. Obviously, as a City fan, I like to discount any United players, but, the likes of Cantona, Giggs, Schmeichel, Keane, Beckham, Ronaldo, Scholes cannot be discounted. Add to the mix Le Tissier, Di Canio, Zola, Bergkamp, Klinsmann, Seaman, Shearer, Pearce, Lake (!), Gascoigne all deserving honourable mentions. All the above brought something different to the game, and put bums on seats (or in Pyscho's case, bums on floor after a brief trip to the stratosphere first). Mass debate time  But for me, I stand by Henry as my choice.

Even though he didn't play that many times for Liverpool, I still reckon Jari Litmanen was one of the greatest ever to play for us. If only he'd played for us in his prime.
