Mine is October 2007 Jim. I went for a five door version with Dynamic trim which included aircon and alloy wheels plus I specified the optional moon roof. That model and the base Active range get a 75bhp engine, the top end Eleganza has more toys and 90 horsepower. Barmybob's wife has one of those and seems pleased with it.
There are chips readily available to bring it up to 110bhp, but I haven't bothered.
£30 a year RFL for all the 1.3 diesels too.
Build quality is much better than the earlier Punto versions too.
Oh yes, my wife prefers it to the coupe.
16VT and X1/9 1500
We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

I think the engine is good, with Renaults its things like electrics and squeaky sunroofs you have to watch for.
Check the turbo, as when I was looking at Clios there were a few on ebay with turbo that had gone.

Other than that, the 80hp version of the Clio mentioned by Daniel seems ok and it has the lowest tax/insurance of anything I've seen so far. PM'd you Jim
