Couldn't agree more.

It's been a monumental snoozefest since the first race!

Maybe a return to Magny Cours instead?

CEO of oil company OGX who are sponsors of Bruno Senna has tweeted this morning that Bruno *will* be driving for Williams next season. No doubt more to follow, as even Bruno says he doesn't know! Found this snippet on the BBC F1 homepage.

A good move for Bruno if it's true.

BBC's presenting line-up announced

But I found the predicted viewing stats at the end of this article (linked from above) more interesting reading!

4-6m per race for the BBC vs 0.5-1m per race for Sky.

The likely impact (as discussed) on interview times, etc will be interesting to see.

I certainly have no plans to go out and get Sky for a few F1 races this year

Apparently i have the the required Virgin package to get the F1 channel (although it wont be in HD without paying extra). So i think i will be watching the Sky only ones on sky and the joint ones i'll go with the BBC (unless i find the Sky offering is brilliant)

I still don't know if I get the F1 channel. I have Virgin Media TV with the Sky Sports package, so I bloody well hope I do!

Rotten luck on Kubica - not like he was driving a snowmobile or anything stupid, eh Kimi?

I'm expecting great things of Ferrari in 2012 - at least they should be competitive with all the recruiting they've been doing.

The mole is back, linked from Joe Saward's blog, suggesting that Adrian Newey could be tempted back to Williams if they offer him a shareholding. Could be the ultimate (in both senses) challenge in his career for him to restore Williams to the top...

From what i've read you will get the F1 channel (non-HD) if you have the Sky Sports package (1,2,3,4 not just 1,2)

You'll only get HD if you're paying the £5 or whatever it is for HD Sports.

I think I have the full Sky Sports (cricket is often not on 1 or 2 and until F1 moved that was my only reason for paying for it). Looks like no HD, sadly, cos I'm not ponying up any more...

Shame for Kubica, but I think it's definitely not too late and he should easily be able to get back to fitness for the start of next season if he can get a drive.

I have to say I have had the Sky Sports package for the last 6 years, mainly for Golf, but I am hoping the F1 addition will prove to be a positive step up from the BBC coverage which was already excellent.

Damon Hill last one in for Sky: http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1/news/12433/7438312/Damon-Hill-joins-Sky-team

Keen to see how Sky approach this now. Am sure they will be giving it the full treatment.

Very sad to see Reubens dumped like this, gutted for him, although I suspect some of his whinges during the season may not have enamoured himself to the team.

Off to drive for the team that stood in court, accused of his uncles death!! Are they also trying to heal old wounds??

However I did think Senna's driving was improving quite smoothly duing the last season.

I think it would have been difficult to regulate. The software could be set in any number of ways to lower the average ride height during the race, but to hold the correct height when stationary. Much better not to have it IMO.

Caterham 2012 car launch and they've signed up to use KERS.

And Pirelli introduce new tyres

If the Tyres do what Pirelli say they'll do then it should be good racing, Ferrari really struggled on the hard Tyres last season.
