Yellow cars must be for the bright too? I'm going to agree. Portofino is for the sophisticated gentleman, as is a 16.

Everyone has their own favourite but I think the defining Fiat Coupe colour has to be Broom yellow. That's the colour I allways noticed them in when they first caught my attention, it's the colour most widely used in brouchures from what I've seen and it's the colour I reckon they are in in the publics consciousness. Mine is porto though as yellow is a bit too normal for me. Actually, looking at the original 20V/20VT Coupe brochure, Broom is conspicuous by it's absence. Apart from in a small colour swatch at the back of the brochure. At the time Sprint Blue was exclusive to the 20VT, as it was felt only the most powerful car in the range was worthy of the colour Unfortunately the marketing boys undermined the colour's status later during production by extending it's use to 20Vs, just as the value of LE was undermined by extending the "LE" run to "not so LE"...

Speed red Then Kawasaki green ;-) Dunno if this was intended to enter the best or worse section here? Here's a speed red one and this one looks as close as one gets on Kawasaki green on a coop. Best or worse colour

Well obviously Sprint Blue top, and any other 'loud colours' as i like to call them look great especially white. The dull greens, wines and black just don't cut it in a car with those lovely lines and curves.

Using a dod of time management I might give the coupe a sauna then cool it off in the pool, after which I would be prepared to forfeit my deposit.

Green used to be one of my least favourite choices until i got my Scottie, lovely colour when clean. It is definitely the most 'unlucky' colour i have ever owned though! Faves - Sprinty, yellow & scottie
least faves - wine red & porto

If we are talking factory standard pre-plus & LE cars it is not so easy. Some colours really didn't work too well with the Black painted lower edges. On early standard cars the darker colours do therefore seem to work best. The Yellow, Red & Sprint Blue look a bit odd. For me Red & Black are the only two that really work on an LE but I still struggle to understand why they took the best interior feature of the car and painted it silver. Once you get to Plus spec, or cars with factory Zender & LE kits things change. It starts to become more about the individual car rather than the colour. I have seen cars in colours I dislike that have looked fantastic. On the flip side I have seen cars in colours I expected to look fantastic that didn't - Energy green and Pearl white There is only really one colour I can think of that I have yet to see a fantastic example of - Ink black.

I love Scotts Green and the deep red wine colour. But they HAVE to be clean, or they can look dull. Also love moon grey, chrono grey and the LE black (proper deep black).
Really hate ink black (just looks like a washed out black to me) and also steel grey just looks dull.
Everything else I quite like

Bringing the colour from the outside to the dash and doors sums up the brilliant design of the Coupe and credit to Pininfarina for doing this.
I just think this design feature is wasted on the black ones.
