looks nice once fitted & painted...nice work.

Just a thought...is there anyway the black diffuser section could be recessed back into the bumper more....so that the 'fins' do not stick out from the bumper so much.....?

I don't like the slab-sided appearance of the side of the bumper. It just looks too after market for my tastes although I think I'm in the minority. coat

I can appreciate the work that has gone into it, however so well done.

DBS "fins" are bigger.. I think, smaller "fins" are not visible on the car..

I'll have better pics with the exhaust on Saturday.. smile

I can appreciate why you've done it, but with a little more exploration for a solution, a more OEM feel could have been achieved, while incorporating a diffuser.

Overall, the proportions of the bumper are OK but there's just too much weight on the lower corners for it to be aesthetically correct from every angle. However, that isn't taking away from the fact that you've produced what will most likely be a popular after market choice. It's more about constructive criticism. smile

I like it, although my preference would be for the black bit to be body coloured

gj, I know what you mean, when I did the photoshop I too thought it would line up a bit more like the original bumper. Although I guess with some work you could make it less of a 'slab'. I've added a little seam and bent the side a bit inwards / upward. I think it's possible to do this if you're a bit handy with glassfibre.

Hint: you can swap between these when you click the first image and then (without closing) the second one. Then press backspace / shift+backspace to swap between the images.

PS - just to say: I've always found the standard rear bumper made the car sit quite high from the ground. Most of the tuning bumpers however address this by adding more panelwork below. With the Coupe being rather narrow and high this only increases that feeling. I think Mariusz' DBS bumper is the best effort yet. By far. My main issues are indeed the fins are pointed slightly too much outwards and the side slab is too much.

Jumps back to photoshop for those fins...

You're getting there Kayjey. If this was to be done again (a new style open to suggestions from the community), I'd love to be there from the start and design it from the ground up through to a CAD model.

Maybe there could be a FCCUK body kit, designed by the forum/AutoDS and manufactured and sold by AutoDS? laugh

That would be solved by separating the diffuser surface from the bumper surface. By pushing it toward the front of the car you'd get a deeper diffuser with a depth of fin, whilst also reducing the visual weight of the lower bumper.

smile I doubt there would be any functionality different large or small, after all as you say: it's not a real diffuser. So I'd rather go for something that is slightly toned down.

Although I'm 200% sure MOST people will like the larger one. I'm pretty sure it won't be long before we see...
