Good day all round, nice to meet a few more owners and soak up a few rays. my only gripe would be the lack of stalls/traders selling bits and bobs, would have had no problem if you had wanted a model but apart from that there was nothing really (apart from some dodgy geeza who sold me some bubble gum smelling wax). And on that note, I can recomend the poorboys wax as after the rain we had today the car still looks in great shape.

Just worked something out, I used 1/2 a tank of fuel to get to the show, that's 190 miles away plus a bit od driving around Coventry the night before and the morning so probably about 200 miles on half a tank of fuel!!!! Don't know about the way back but pretty much the same, maybe a little more after Taffy's and mine drag race from the M6 toll plaza!!

I enjoyed it but i think the club could have done with a stand or at least a banner so people knew what/who we were. Does the club have this? (this was my first show so i may be wrong - don't be angry with me!)

No need to be angry at anyone matey!! I'm arranging a stand for the show at Santa Pod in August, see another thread for more info. Come along the more the merrier!! I think Scooby and Bobbs will hopefully be there with a club banner too!!!!!

Colin, we do sometimes have a stand at Auto Italia events but it relies on having someone transporting it there, setting it up, taking it down, transporting it back, giving up their weekends etc.
