OK how about the place we talked about earlier, the place Fraser found?

The Village of Laxfield and the Kings Head an unusual pub (No Bar ) but well worth a look.

Weather on the Met office site shows a sunny day / Yahoo weather shows showers

Nice to see you all, it's been a while

That Sprint blue plus looks fantastic Ed Hope you got home in time

The 16V is looking sweet Simon.... Gold calipers looked nice and that de-badged bonnet

Fraser it was a pity we didn't get to have a proper look at the Alfa, but we fully understand why you had to leave matey, hope all goes well.

Bob

Whoops forgot to get the Camera out of the car

All Adams fault of course

I thought 2005 was a bd year for meets but this year has been even worse

Todays meet was a last minute thing, arranged because I knew I would be at a loose end. OK so it was not a big meet with only three coupes and an Alfa. However it was a meet and a chance to catch up I had not seen Ed since the Christmas party and it had been over a year since I last met with Simon & Fraser. It was really good to meet the guys again for a natter over a beer, I just hope we don't leave it so long to our next meet.

Whilst chatting we felt the best way to organise a meet is to pick a day when you can be somewhere and stick to it. A pub is good because if no one else can make it at least you can still have a drink, something to eat and a nice drive out in your Coupe.

So where we going next?

Good to see that Ed's not been tempted away from Coupes, and the new cars looking good.
Also good to catch up with Bob and Frazer, Bob - it's got me thinking now - What yellow pipes would look like!
Ended up doing quite a few miles, Aldeburgh firstly along with everybody else in the world, and then Clacton for the free fireworks. I do like anything thats free!
Good trip all the way from Aldeburgh to Colchester with Nissan fairlady, think he was quite surprized to see me still behind him. Think I'd better check the oil level, get the feeling it may have burnt a bit yesterday!

yes I used quite a bit of fuel yesterday I filled up on Friday and I am nearly empty on Sunday

250 miles in the Seat TDi will just take the needle to 3/4 of a tank but the drive will be unlike yesterday

I don't think so - I did get a little disorientated though,(Duxford is a hell of alot further from Norwich than I thought!) so it could well have been!
