I pick up my genuine Plus side skirts this weekend and I'm about to bite the bullet and make a choice on what bumper to add to the car with them.

I cant decide what to go for. I love the LE look and the front bumper looks sublime without a number plate, with LE lips fitted. It's not the most original modification but it certainly is one of the ver best looking IMO.

Then there's the Zender bumper. A long time favourite of mine and a close contender to the LE lips. My only issue with it is it doesnt blend into the LE side skirts.

Next up is the Cada bumper. Great for the modified look and rarer that both of the above. Best used on Leon's car IMO.

PIU. Again, one of the rarer choices but not a bumper I've always wanted.

So what do you think? Opinions please laugh

N.B. Pics were found via Google. If they're yours and you'd like me to remove them, just ask thumb

Could a mod add a poll to this please?

Could be because they cover vital air intakes.. laugh
So they are mainly for NA Coupes, I think. Unless you really want to hamper your performance..

The four I've posted are really the only I would consider tbh. I'm favouring the LE lips at the moment I think.

Zender for me (although it may just be that glossy red paint job that's swinging me) as I like the smooth curves.

LE looks too busy for me and the others look too angular...I know that's silly to say, what with the slashes on the coop but it's how I feel.

Front std/LE/Plus bumper full painted will always look busy I agree, but I think it never was intended that way. The lower intakes are clearly intended to be all black. I have them black:

http://sfk.ibk.se/forum/attachment.php?s=31d83a8f6593a419aa40110feb27405c&postid=108291

(..and extra large upper intakes)

Thanks for the opinions folks. Does anyone have a photo of Flea's Coupe from a front 3/4 view by any chance?

A Cada front bumper with lowered suspension will "really" struggle with speed bumps, Le and Zender don't.

Loved the look of a Cada, it just isn't pratical for lowered coupes.

My coupe is low so the Cada probably isn't the best idea. Reuben, I've looked at those images many times! Cheers matey. Its between the LE lips and the zender bumper now. PIU just doesn't do much for me.

My car cada sits about 3" off the floor and its probably in contact with the ground just as much as the tyres tongue looks too good to raise the height though IMO smile

Not sure if its just me, but mine is lowered with a Zender front and it "really" struggles with speed bumps, multi-storey car parks etc frown

Looks awesome though laugh

I don't think you have had the cada on it yet. I've had them all on apart from the pui, having to ask her to get out and walk the rest of the way because we couldn't get over a speed bump isn't fun frown

Mines lowered 40mm, with a Zender front bumper and find it's the exhaust that takes the hit over speed bumps, the bumper is fine smile

I have not and do not ever wish to attempt a multi storey car park in a Coupe laugh I know the bumper would really scrap on the ramps, so what with that and the poor turning circle, then it's a big do not wish to be in that situation from me laugh

I do find I have to reverse into parking spaces that have kerbs, as the bumper will catch and scrap on them if I drive in forwards and park up.

All good fun though and part of the joys of owning a Coupe laugh

Well I'm still undecided and tbh, getting the bumper hasn't been my top priority but I might send the Coupe to a body shop pending a shell inspection, so I might as well pull my finger out. I really need to see an image or two of Flea's Coupe from a front 3/4 view if anyone has one? Same colour, LE skirts (which I have, yet to be fitted though) and a Zender. I've tried the search loads of times to no avail. Didn't Phil (Patch234) detail Flea's car and post a few images?

I'm swaying towards the Zender now.
