Just ordered these as I have been told they offer better comfort and similar handling as the regular 20VT Eibachs as well as a slightly less lowered ride height.

Did I do the right thing?

IIRC, the 16VT Eibach springs are progressively wound (fronts?) and many who have fitted them think they offer a larger degree of comfort than the 20VT Eibachs.

They are a progressive spring but you will find the bottom 3 coils sit coil bound with the weight on the car so not really of any use.
They are however made of a smaller gauge wire so will be ever so slightly softer.

I liked them on my old coupe when used with the Billies, just took the harsh edge off the usual crashy Eibach ride.
