Just wanna say between yesterday and today, I've read through this whole thread. It sounds and looks amazing!!!!

Seems as if my drive to the eurotunnel would be the longest part of the journey!!

This is definitely something I'm looking to get involved in next year. Even only to just attend and enjoy the drive!!

Hope everyone has a great time away!! laugh

Ross

Sound ok to me. I didn't take any head light converters last year, I had a roll of insulation tape just incase laugh. Doubt we will do much driving at night anyway.

Edit:

Proccy might have some hi vis jackets.

Regarding juice I reckon I can prob manage on 3 tankfuls - 1 from Brum to Spa, 1 for the track (only doing the 2 1/2 hour sessions) and 1 tank back to Brum.

Just be aware on the track you will easily use a whole tank in 60 mins ! - assuming you're not driving like a marco

I don't think of the cost to be honest, it's just such a damn good weekend, priceless IMO. cool

Don't forget you will have an extra 70 miles or so driving using the tunnel from Folkestone to Calais rather than the Dover to Dunquerque ferry as we did the past couple of years Mike.

I have just received the entry tickets and will be posting them tomorrow to those who have not asked me to keep them.

That is to the non-UK participants mainly.

I'm massively on a bidget too, I'm deciding weather to really break the bank and get 2 r888's for the front axel.

Will the stress of being skint worth it or should I settle for some lesser proxys? sick

Running track tyres only on the front wheels is a recipe for massive oversteer once tyre temps get high, you have been warned !

Yikes you boys are pretty serious about the track stuff eh?

Tyre temperatures an issue on a Fiat Coupe shocked

Just please dont run into the back/side of me as I'm trundling along, thanks.

It's only when you get the tyres properly hot, great clods of rubber were coming off my rear road tyres on my 1st Spa outing !

It was a v hot day though..just be aware.

Nah, I wont be experiencing any kind of tyre overheating I can assure you.

I will happily take slowest lap both days as long as my car returns with no damage (engine or body) wink
