I've had my wife moaning at me for years like your boyfriend does. "Oooooh, you spend all your spare time with car" "I wish you'd spend money on me like you do with that thing" so on so forth.

It doesn't mean he's not right for you....

As for the bunch of coopstuds sniffing around this thread, they all have girlfriends apart from Marion, I mean Mario who is gay and Truffle who is still figuring out what girls want. laugh Is this what you want instead? wink

Only joking Mario laugh

I agree with phil smile He knows how much you like it and didnt want you getting rid of it...maybe he just wants some more attention or feels a bit less manly. Anyway its only a car, if your going to dump him make sure its over something of significance!

We still dont know what HE drives!?

I think the forum has turned into a dating site!?

You should stop it, your hose of death will start expanding and leaking soon if you carry on laugh

Emmie will then blow a fuse and you'll have to relay back to her what you really meant laugh

Most often its the women that are whining about men with their cars. This is different. You are sure he's no girl??

I would appreciate a girl that can work on her own car.
But I haven't found one yet over here in NL.

Ohh dear....ohh dear

Its like women dont exist for my fellow groovers..one comes along and we are ...well.. salivating??

What happended to charm, wit and wooing?

Anyway, i digress.. maybe if you help this groovy lady with some words of wisdom and become her price charming of boyfriend issues, then maybe there is some light.

Here is my action plan

1. Swap cars for a week. (if he has no car then allow him to borrow)

See what his feedback is; depending on his response you can decide what course of action you wish to undertake.

I must say having a chap who has his own coop would indeed be bonus for you, and that chap could indeed be your existing other half..

Post your pic at your peril though..LOL

have only just spotted this thread so sorry for having nothing original to say but like a lot of us i am astounded that there exists a lady that loves coupes, cars, talks about them and works on them also love.
what a result your boyfriends had he really doesn't realise how lucky he is
i actually suffer serious stick ,from nagging to complete indifference if she is in a particularly good mood ,
how many times i have heard the phrase "bloody coops" and have had the "you think more of those bloody cars" line.. and "you spend more time with them" etc etc i couldn't say but its way too many
having your partner working on your car with you! thats the definition of marital bliss isn't it? especially if she's really handy with the spanners!
you don't happen to be interested in the tuning side of things as well do you?..that would just bee too much!
looks like there'd many appreciative suiters should you ever find yourself single..your boyfriend is a genuinely lucky man..
he must be joking with it all!
