Hi Paul - sorry was away for a bit - as mentioned I'm working Saturday Night but managed to get Sunday off so will be going but probably will meet there so I can get a few hours kip before after my nightshift! The Green Man is OK but car park very small - can I suggest The Styvechale Arms Harvester on the A45? As its on the main road its probably easier to find/get to and very near Stoneleigh. Basically follow the A45 from Brum Airport (Eastbound) or from the M45 (Westbound). Heres the GoogleMap. Postcode is CV3 6PB. Its right on the roundabout at the junction with the Leamington Road - Theres also a Holiday Inn Express, a BP M&S Simply Food Garage and the Robins and Day big Peugeot dealership on the same island so you cannot miss it. You'll need to take the southbound turn onto St Martins Road to get access into the car park, but its 3.5 miles from there to Stoneleigh. Easy....thoughts?

I'll still be there, but I wont make a 9.45 meet. I'll probably see you all at Stoneleigh at 1030 or 11.

OK Paul - though I'll get my kip in and meet there late morning. Once all at the pub - Turn right form the car park onto St Martins road again and follow that for about 3 miles through Stoneleigh village and you'll come to the showground / abbey entrances. I'm sure there'll be a Mitcar sign too. See you there.....

Paul/Guys - looking at the details for this looks like you need to access Stoneleigh Abbey from the B4115 for MitCar. As before leave the Harvester but take the right hand turn into the B4115 just before Stoneleigh village itself. Theres a Brown Stoneleigh Abbey sign at the turn. The entrance is about a mile down that road on the left. This differs from the entrance to the Stoneleigh showground (where the Royal Show takes place) on the B4113 after Stoneleigh village for those that know the location.

Good to meet old friends, shame about the lack of catering on site.

Good to see some familiar faces from a couple of years ago! I've got a couple of decent photos that I will link to later.
I think I will do better research about catering next year, though - I'd assumed that as they mentioned a cafe it would have some food in it. Silly me! I think we need to copy the Fiat Forum and rock up with an enormous BBQ.
