Ok Update from Klaas
Him and pete are having trouble moving the car
1. Snow Chains will not fit the wheel 2. No towhook (missing) 3. Tow hole is blocked with a bolt
Any ideas? I am sure Joe / Rog could point out some strategic points in the engine bay that are string enough to be tied too and hauled out that way... mind the body work though Front wishbones or rear trailing arm. The lower loop on the front is purely for securing the car while being transported, if this is pulled from the front it will cause damage and bend possibly bend the oil cooler pipes as well.

The M20 near Folkestone is closed for Operation Stack, and the Eurotunnel services are badly delayed.
I've sent Klaas a text to warn him to keep supplies and fuel on board - hope he doesn't have too many more dramas on his way home.....

Just seen this thread, however I'm based near Ashford Kent, my advice if KJ & family can get close to Jct 9 on the M20 is a good set of decent hotels, cinemas & BK, Pizza Hut etc, so you can safely stay close to the M/way & park up the car in security till the eurotunnel opens. I wouldn't recommend going too far off the open roads as we are due a good dump of snow tonight. Stay safe out there pal

Hey guys. Thanks for the info Taz. I've passed that on to Klaas. Update is that they have made it to near junction 11 on the M20 and it is now stopped. They need to get off junction 11 to take the road to the train... The inside two lanes are full of parked lorries as there is a M20 closure ahead... which is helpful! Anyway, they are stocked up with all they need and fired up to get home... so I expect that will be the result! Eurotunnel has an hour delay for freight which I'm sure will knock on for all passengers... Klaas was trying to get there before 7pm, meaning he would be inside 24 hours late on his ticket and not have to pay full price for a new one...... not looking good on that front! I'll update later when I hear from them. Hey Dave, I've been checking out your website today... hope you're doing well mate?

On a day like this you would hope that the Eurotunnel ticket people might be fairly sympathetic.... extra cash for the ticket would be adding insult to injury!

Really glad they have made it, 10 times harder when partner and little one are involved. @ Sl0ggs, Ah, I see, cheers, hope to do a bit more racing next year.
