Unsure in the right section

Is it possible? How do these work exactly?

Im likely getting a vw transporter from work and may consider towing the coupe to spa....then to the ring...using one of these.

Are they easy enough to attach to a coupe?Im looking at the ones that attach to the wishbones.

tow frame dolly

Just a suggestion.

I have one and used it to tow my coupe from Cheltenam to Ilford a total of 120 miles with a Fiat dolbo van . Its the best way to tow a car .You leave the keys in the ignition and the wheels on the tow car turn themselves .

ive also used a dolly to tow mine, dont know if id like to tow it that far but they are a good bit of kit.

Think id use a full trailer if i was going to tow it long distances

Am i right in thinking that you can only use a dolly for emergency purposes only? (I might be wrong)

"The use of “dollies” is intended for the recovery of broken down vehicles, not for the transportation of a vehicle from “A” to “B”."

They are illegal for anything other than emergency situations, there aree also legal stipulations re towed weights for them also.
