If my springs are starting to get corroded and most of the paint has come off them is there anyway I can lengthen their life?

I was thinking of taking them off, wire brush, treat with rust treatment and repaint them (hammorite or something) .. or am I wasting my time and better off just replacing them?

Oh no, not again! sick

Anyhoo, yes, you can just spruce them up with rust treatment and Hammerite *but* I have to be honest here, once they start to rust they become more prone to fracturing.....

I think all Eibachs corrode, both sets I had started to go on the lower coils.
To do the job properly, I'd get them stripped and powder coated but I'm not sure how much that would cost.
