What a great weekend, the wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Excellent organisation - well done team - and excellent venues for all activities.

Really good to 'bond' with all the guy's and girls and the drinking sessions were definitely very memorable (I think)!

Highlights include watching Jake get crowned karting king, beating about 25 mature guy's at the thing we love best - racing! He's only 14 for those who don't know

This event is now firmly on the calendar for the family and I. I'll post the pics the wife took later - I was generally too busy drinking!

Thanks to the club organisers for a top weekend, great to meet everyone for some serious purple-jumpered mayhem. A lot of driving, drinking, eating, clingfilming and laughing. Roll on the next one.

Big thumbs up to the organisers for a top weekend of hoonery, alcohol abuse and good banter!

I got home on fumes today, namely my own. If I'd a long enough piece of hose I could have breathed into the fuel tank. Would have been more pure and stronger burning than 99 RON

Eventful weekend for me, thought I'd trashed the suspension on my new 16vt, bought another 20vt and today sold my Porto. Buy buy sell

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising this AGM.

Paul, Theresa, Mike and everyone else. Wonderful job!

Now for some lovely pictures.... we arrived after stopping at Proccy's. The weather was worse than we thought unfortunately we were turning purple. But being a friend Proccy was at hand to help out with a few spare jumpers



After the track we had a few quiet drinks to follow up on our meal...

Now this part requires a little explaining! After the return to the hotel. Our operation came into life. Feeling hungry we moved Mario out of the hotel to McDonalds so the car wrapping procedure could begin. We suffered a few technical problems at the drive through. Not being made of metal we failed to set of the sensor. So we had a little chat with the machine...




After moving on, to the next window we continued our protest that we were cars, using the gear stick and handbrake along with our mirrors. Much to the annoyance of a random 4x4 Lexus...

Now we returned to the hotel for some more drinking... Once The light weights had retired at 2:30 we continued our prank! A special thanks go out to Proccy for providing the industrial wrap used

We continued the earlier wrap to cover the complete car! A few guilty members perhaps...


A fitting final touch I thought...

Upon completion we all slept well after a few beers... In the morning a master class of distraction and precision placement stopped our deed being discovered. The car happened to be right outside the restaurant where we were having breakfast!

After an extremely humorous first half of the AGM meeting (where I started this post from!) with such lovely puns "of wrap it up" floating around the room we took a break. Announcing that there was something outside the club wanted everyone to see we took a trip outside... By now everyone in the club present, the hotel staff passing cars and pretty much Lichfield were aware of what had occurred. All except Mario

All is revealed!






Once the laughter and hilarity had passed... It took a while we continued with the AGM! Although a few other pranks did appear we headed off to the local pub!

Such an excellent sight!



When karting finished Phil misunderstood the meaning of this podium and started to strip... Always one huh...




At the evening meal on Saturday a good time was had by all!


Marco had a little brain wave so we treated Alexis to a birthday surprise! It not being his birthday was somewhat forgotten, as was the instructions regarding his age. We forgot not to mention that we did not need the kids pack.... Balloons, candles, crayons the works!



Although it seemed really that Nigel was far more interested in them!




It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend! Many thanks as I have said to everyone involved. Especially Paul for securing more food at the Pub and Mike for the karting!

Unfortunately Proccy was ill on Saturday afternoon, hope you have recovered now Steve!

Even though Friday was a washout, everyone had a great time. It was a fitting last outing for DaveT's car, such a predictable, fast machine. HoveDan is a lucky man

I knew Friday night was going to be messy, so managed to extract myself early I must be getting too old Though I wished I'd stayed around for the McDonald's drive-through and the wrapping

The young (and not so young) who stopped out all night, to my surprise were all there at breakfast. It's also great to see the enthusiam they have to move the club (and forum) forward

Thanks for Mike for chauffeuring me about on Saturday. It's nice to be out in a Coop on the road again

I've only karted once before, and it was so much more fun battling with people you know. MattM will now know not to leave his back passage unguarded and I'll have to get my own back on Begbie when he finally gets his car on track (though track days may be banned by 2020...).

We really should do a Curborough and karting weekend next year regardless of where the AGM is

Lol, I only gave Marco the idea a while ago and then proceeded to watch the events unfold

I was too cold and drunk to do anything else but stand there watching, smoking and supporting those who wrapped the car up

I've reworked my sentence now to make it sound better than it did

When I can work out how to invert the video, (the camera was upside down whilst mounted to the windscreen) create a youtube account and uplaod the images I'll post them up.

I have a few in car runs, some action from wet laps "the wrapping incident" and the go cart final (Jake you are the star in the car)

Unfortunately, I do not have anything on Patch's lap. The camera was set to "motion activated" and he was so slow it didn't pick anything up

Hi Folks.We are just home now.Its nice and warm here.
My mileage turned out to be 1,822 . Car is still running sweet with no signs of smoking now.
