I wouldn't rely on a standard inspection. Need to have specialist knowledge really, and the coop's quite rare so you're unlikely to get someone doing the inspection who knows about them. If you want an independent inspection then try calling a recognised coop specialist in your area to see if they can do one.
You have come to the right place though - try and buy from a member on here, or, failing that, spend some time reading on here, getting to know the coop inside out, then do your own inspection.
