Just had a chat with the guys selling on behalf of the owner...only bad side is that iit has not had belts for 5 years...although it's only covered less than 20k miles in that time.

they are looking for over £2k..plus the belts it'll be £2 - £3k what do you guys think?

Has it got a good deal of service history because this is the most essential part to buying a coupe

apparently it has a decent history...no smoke from the turbo..but the belts need to be replaced and the chap I spoke to could not believe the cost....he thought I was completely wrong when I quoted about £400 from Roger...but he also declined to do the belts himself!

Go take a look - take a drive - view the log book and service records. If genuine, set you maximum bid, also have monies set aside for that cambelt change - same amount again for contingencies such as thermostat and fresh MOT ?

I wouldnt be paying over 2k for that example. Doesnt look like its been cherished to me.

I think you're right..price is a little rich for me considering it needs belts at the very least

my le is for sale at not much more and it's a nice car
