I'm loving the wheels! They would look a whole lot better if the car was lowered smile

With the tiny rear brakes, it looks like a Wagon Wheel laugh

You should see the state of the original wheels ooo ! More scuffed than the most scuffed thing you have ever seen!! Once sorted I can mix and match according to state of mind/tyres (promise I will only change all 4 at the same time wobble !

Next project - wallet a bit light after new exhaust, clutch, belts, brakes, Flea mapping etc., laugh . For the new year Billies and Eibachs (provided something doesn't blow in the meantime confused ). Also driving quite a lot on country lanes an inch lower might prove a problem!!

She's looking good there Tim..wheels - design good but better in silver for your Scottie I think...still have some old Airfix paint from the lightning kit I built in the 60's if you want it.... tongue

or you could give them to me..black wheels on a broomy would look pretty good I suspect.. laugh

Where did you take the photo's? Bluebell Hill??

Jon

BTW just posted picutures of the Hid installation on my 'industrious day' thread if you have not yet found them...Jon

I dont have it anymore though. cry

The wheels and brakes were sold separately - when I look back at those photos it looks like it had been re-sprayed, when the paintwork was all original. smile

I'm tempted (I was tempted at the time to keep the RX and coupe - I did for 3 months), but no. One high maintenance car is enough for me, and if I had another coupe it would be as immaculate as possible, and kept that way - which is a lot of work. it's nice to have something I dont care about that much for driving about town as a second car.

Refusing to drive to tescos (or parking taking up two spaces) in both cars used to drive the wife utterly mad...she's also learning to drive at the moment and pregnant, which would mean I'd have to have 3 cars, as she's not touching my toys! laugh

Suba,
trust that ONE of the engines is in the RX7, otherwise you must be pedalling quickly driving !

Scott's green and gloss black wheels really go well IMO. Very nice.

Team Dynamic 17" ProRace 1.2s.... only wheels I liked that didn't need wobblies, spacers etc., to fit over the 20VT Brembos. Toyo T1R rubber,

cheers,

- I think I'd also black paint the Brembos, wheel studs, fuel cap and key barrels - that would make it look evil and cool smile

Got to get the rust off the wheel hubs - the brown clashes horribly.... frown ! Like the idea of the black Brembos, but not sure about the filler cap!! Spent too long refurbing it blush ,

Yep - 13B twin rotor, now single turbo.

Small engine, and about 90kg - not too bad when all the gubbins is off it, though when it goes back in I think the gearbox will need to be attached first, and it's set waaaaay back in the engine bay - so I'm sure it's going to be harder to put in than it was to get out!

I may wimp out and get it towed to a specialist! laugh
