Just noticed the rear arch is closer to the tyre on the passenger side by about 10mm. Also i have noticed the sound of tyre rubbing wheel arch more than normal in the past week or two ( i'm running 17's with 20mm spacers), i hardly ever heard anything when i first fitted the spacers. confused

Have a look underneath the rear and check for a broken spring.

Just out of interest, why are you running 20mm spacers on the rear? It's not needed to clear the calipers and probably why your wheels are rubbing the arches.

I bought the spacers second hand as a set, 15 on the front and 20 on the back, i would have got some 15's for the back but i've got used to it and i really like the stance now.

If anything, it should be the other way round, 20 on the front and 15 on the rear. A wider rear track will make some interesting handling.

Try swapping them round, it will stop the rubbing.

Ahhh don't you love front wheel drive cars that look rwd hehehe wink

definitely going to be interesting with a wider track on the rear. Swap them around or remove the rear spacers completely, it will feel completely different.

Ahh... right as you may have already gathered i'm not 100% on the mechanical stuff, i'll be swapping the 20's for some 15's (can't bring myself to have it wider at the front, it would just look weird). Cheers for the advice.

Also check your shock absorber too.

Mine was sitting lower than usual on one side for a time and it was the shock not returning as it should.
